Texas A&M Aggies vs. Oklahoma Sooners
[h=1]Pick: Oklahoma -3[/h]In this sweet 16 matchup you’ve got A&M out of the SEC and Oklahoma from the Big 12. A&M survived last game against Northern Iowa using the most insane comeback I’ve ever seen in a basketball game. They were able to send it into overtime after being down 12 with just 45 seconds remaining, and I don’t see that magic happening this time around against a veteran-laden Oklahoma team. The players who really have the ability to go off for the Aggies are Danuel House and Jalen Jones, both forward/wing players that can really fill it up. The Aggies also have big man Tyler Davis who can really hurt teams down low and make it hard for the opposition to attack the rim. Oklahoma beat VCU in a nail-biter themselves, but instead they were holding off a VCU comeback as opposed to needing one of their own. I probably don’t need to talk much about Buddy Hield, as everyone and their mother knows he has been the best player in college basketball this season and will win the Naismith, so Oklahoma has that going for them. I think Isaiah Cousins and Jordan Woodard knock down timely shots and Oklahoma escapes this one with a win by around 10 points, so take the Sooners to cover this 3-point spread.
